Who are you in a few words?

My name is Emely, I’m 26 years old and originally from Germany. I studied economics and joined Protectas last year. I’m a determined and committed person with a keen eye for detail.

What motivated you to work at Protectas?

The security sector is an exciting and dynamic environment. The chance to offer people a safe job while contributing to society’s safety really motivated me.

Can you tell us about your beginnings at Protectas?

When I started, I had to learn the specific requirements of the security industry. There were many particular aspects, from qualification needs to various types of assignments. Thanks to my team, I quickly settled into my role and appreciated the diversity of the job.

What are you responsible for now?

I’m a recruiter at Protectas and always looking for the right talent. My job is to find people who are a great fit for Protectas and who want to help make the world a safer place.

What do you enjoy about your job?

I love being able to strengthen our team and offer people career opportunities. The challenge of finding the right candidates for each region and thinking strategically makes the job exciting and fulfilling.

Which value speaks to you the most and why? (Integrity, Vigilance, Helpfulness)

Integrity. As a recruiter, honest and transparent communication is key – both with applicants and internally. It’s the foundation for building long-term, trustworthy work relationships.

What is it like working as a woman in your role?

In my role as a recruiter, being a woman is not unusual – in fact, the field is mostly female.

Any advice for women wanting to work in the security field?

Be confident and don’t let yourself be intimidated! The security sector offers many exciting opportunities, and women have just as much to offer as men. With the right information, training and confidence, you can succeed in this field.
