    Mission Protectas: Romain Bosshard

    Romain joined Protectas with the ambition to take on a new professional challenge in the security sector. Drawing on experience gained in the airport environment and a strong focus on service and customer relations, he has gradually grown within the Sales Support department. Today, as Team Leader in Geneva, he plays a key role in coordinating proposals and building long-term commercial partnerships.

    Romain Bosshard, Team Leader Sales Support, Geneva

    Who are you in a few words? 

    My name is Romain Bosshard, I am 30 years old, French-Swiss, and based in Geneva. I am an honest and curious person and consider myself a good-natured individual. I currently work as Team Leader Sales Support in Geneva. 

    I am passionate about watchmaking, automobiles and geopolitics, and I hold a Federal VET Diploma in commercial administration as well as a commercial professional baccalaureate. 

    What motivated you to work at Protectas? 

    The security sector has always interested me. I was looking for a professional challenge that would allow me to grow while offering stability.

    I identified strongly with the company’s values, and Protectas gave me the opportunity to put my skills at the service of the organization. 

    Can you tell us about your beginnings at Protectas? 

    My previous professional experience was in the airport sector, a demanding and fast-paced environment. When I joined Protectas, the security field was still new to me, but my interest enabled me to quickly acquire solid knowledge. 

    I applied these skills within the Sales Support department, contributing to proposal coordination and the management of commercial processes.

    I started as a Sales Support specialist and, thanks to my commitment and adaptability, was promoted to Deputy Head of the department the following year. 

    What are you responsible for today? 

    I am currently the Team Leader of the Sales Support department. My main responsibilities include coordinating proposals and tenders, managing schedules and leave, and overseeing day-to-day operational tasks. 

    From a commercial perspective, my goal is to meet customer needs at all times while respecting the company’s expectations. I enjoy negotiating and finding suitable solutions to build strong and lasting business relationships. My guiding principle is: good communication leads to satisfied clients. 

    What do you enjoy most about your job? 

    The diversity of our services makes my daily work dynamic and prevents routine. This variety allows me to develop strong versatility and acquire complementary skills. 

    I particularly value direct contact with clients, as it enables close collaboration to understand their needs, anticipate constraints and design tailored solutions. This approach helps strengthen trust, customer loyalty and long-term partnerships. 

    What is your biggest challenge and how do you handle it? 

    Meeting very tight deadlines, especially for strategic tenders, can be challenging. Securing or retaining contracts is essential for the company’s long-term success. 

    To manage time pressure, it is crucial to be highly organized and to distribute tasks efficiently across different departments (Operations, Risk & Legal, Academy, HR, etc.). 

    Which value resonates most with you and why? 

    Integrity is the value that guides me on a daily basis. Honesty and politeness are fundamental principles of my upbringing.

    In the commercial field, helpfulness is also essential, as it builds trust and fosters long-term customer relationships. 

    What advice would you give to women who want to work in the security sector? 

    At Protectas, inclusion and diversity are at the heart of our corporate culture. We come from different backgrounds, cultures and experiences, and together this diversity becomes our strength.
