Mission Protectas: Noam Riso Da Silva

Who are you in a few words? 

My name is Noam, and I served for 8 years in the National Police, including the CRS and the SPI4G unit. 

What motivated you to join Protectas? 

I was attracted by the global reputation of the group and the diversity of roles within the company. 

Can you tell us about your beginnings at Protectas? 

I worked a few months in the migration sector before moving to the international organizations sector, where I was quickly integrated into a site. 

What are your responsibilities today? 

I lead a team of 12 in Geneva. On a daily basis, I work with the client to develop and implement new processes and support the event teams in organizing various activities. 

What do you enjoy most about your job? 

I enjoy the variety of tasks and the continuous development of skills. 

What is your biggest challenge and how do you handle it? 

Managing people is the most complex part. Constant self-reflection and training are my main tools for improving in this area. 

Which value speaks to you the most and why? 

Integrity, because for me it encompasses all other values. 

What advice would you give to women who want to work in the security sector? 

Do not hesitate: at Protectas, it is skills and qualities that are assessed, not gender.
